Lets Stir- Fry it’s easy Fun and Delicious.

Cooking stir fry is a Chinese cooking method that is fast, Healthy and easy to prepare. You only need a couple of kitchen utensils’ to get started. A wok or saute pan, Cutting board and a little imagination. You can use beef ,Chicken , Seafood. Add Fresh vegetables with  a light sauce to keep it healthy. So lets create a stir-fry dish.

Choose your favorite vegetables like Onions, Broccoli, Cauliflower, String Beans, Red Bell Peppers, Carrots, and Baby Corn, ect.

You can also add roots like Carrot root, Taro corm, Syam roots, Beet roots, Rutabagas and Sweet Potatoes.

Stir -Fry recipe

  • 1 Pound of peeled raw medium shrimp, bay or sea scallops, thin flank steak cut into bite-size strips. You can also add chicken or tofu.
  •  Use 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp Sesame oil and 1 Tbsp dry or sweet sherry. Marinate your protein for 30 min.
  • First cut a peeled medium-large onion in half (pole-to-pole), then cut each half into about 8 wedges. Set aside.
  • 1 pound shitake mushrooms.
  • 1 pound sliced carrots
  • 1 pound Snow Peas
  • 5 Stalks Green Onions

Mince 1 Tbsp each of fresh garlic and ginger root. Set aside

 

stir-fry sauce and glaze
Just mix 2 tsp cornstarch with 2 Tbsp chicken broth or water. Add 1 tsp cumin, Set Aside

 

Add 1 Tbsp of oil, then half the protein, to the pan

Stir-fry meat and vegetables  until well-browned and cooked through, 2 to 3 minutes. .

 

Add the onion and the minced garlic and ginger next so they’ll have a chance to flavor the entire dish.

 

Stir in your flavoring sauce, at the end then enjoy your meal with rice or noodles.
